Directions to Ardyne

You will pass three lochs on the way to Tarbert, Loch Lomond, Loch Long and Loch Fyne. From Glasgow on the M8 follow signs for Erskine Bridge, Junction 30. Keep left, once over the bridge following signs for Loch Lomond/Crianlarich on A82. Passing Tarbet (without the 2nd “r”) continue straight on A83. Leaving Arrochar you’ll begin to ascend “The Rest and Be Thankful” driving above a deep valley with photo opportunities! The next main landmark is the original Loch Fyne Oyster Restaurant, a perfect stop for excellent local produce. Keep going through Inveraray (you’re now halfway) for around 35 miles until you reach Lochgilphead then take a left for Campbeltown. Total travel time is approx 2.5 hours from Glasgow. Once you reach Tarbert, drive down to the village and take a left at the Co-op passing the shops along the harbour. Keep following the road as it winds along Pier Road until you reach a row of four semi-detached Victorian Villas with green gates. Ardyne is the first house with the light blue door. If you pass The Columba Hotel you’ve gone too far!
