PricesHand towels, tea towels, bedding and heating are provided at no extra cost. Weekly hire ranges from £450 per week low season to £650 high season. Christmas and New Year and Scottish Series bookings are priced separately.
ExtrasPets may be considered by arrangement at additional charge of £20 per week. Bath towels are provided at additional charge of £5 per person. Firewood, logs and coal provided at additional charge of £10 per week. BBQ set and garden furniture, wooden table and matching chairs provided in garden. BBQ coal not included.
Proximity to village amenitiesIt is a six minute walk from Ardyne to the nearest grocery shop, the Fisherman’s Co-op situated opposite the Harbour Master’s office by the quay. "The Larder" fruit and veg shop is a further one minute's walk and the Co-op is another minute's walk. The Post Office is a ten minute walk from Ardyne, situated near the Co-op.
Directions to ArdyneYou will pass three lochs on the way to Tarbert, Loch Lomond, Loch Long and Loch Fyne. From Glasgow on the M8 follow signs for Erskine Bridge, Junction 30. Keep left, once over the bridge following signs for Loch Lomond/Crianlarich on A82. Passing Tarbet (without the 2nd “r”) continue straight on A83. Leaving Arrochar you’ll begin to ascend “The Rest and Be Thankful” driving above a deep valley with photo opportunities! The next main landmark is the original Loch Fyne Oyster Restaurant, a perfect stop for excellent local produce. Keep going through Inveraray (you’re now halfway) for around 35 miles until you reach Lochgilphead then take a left for Campbeltown. Total travel time is approx 2.5 hours from Glasgow. Once you reach Tarbert, drive down to the village and take a left at the Co-op passing the shops along the harbour. Keep following the road as it winds along Pier Road until you reach a row of four semi-detached Victorian Villas with green gates. Ardyne is the first house with the light blue door.
